LEAD (ELGA) Curriculum

Implementation of LEAD (Full Course) & LEAD (ELGA) Curriculum



For Classes 1–4, 7, and 8


Following its successful implementation in previous years, the ELGA (English Learning through General Awareness) curriculum, which was already introduced for Classes 1 to 4 and 7, has now been extended to Class 8 this year.

Through this program, students’ five essential skills — LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) along with Critical Thinking — are systematically developed. As a result, both Spoken English and Written English proficiency have shown remarkable improvement.

To further enhance academic standards, the LEAD Curriculum, aligned with the NCERT pattern, which was introduced for Class 5 last year, has now been fully implemented for Class 6 this year as well. The curriculum includes:
